For us, "wealth partners" means several things. First and foremost, it personifies the relationships we have with our clients; based on education, advice and empowerment. Second, it refers to the team of advisors and support staff who work together to deliver an exceptional customer service and advice delivery experience. Finally, it captures the relationships we have formed with our strategic business partners, carefully selected to provide product solutions and specialized advice to help our clients reach their financial goals.

Trinity Wealth Partners is an independent financial planning firm located in Bedford, Nova Scotia. We offer comprehensive wealth management services as well as fee-for-service financial advice. We are qualified to provide financial advice on a wide array of topics, from education saving, retirement planning to estate planning and more. Trinity Wealth Partners had its roots in 1981 as CAQ Financial, owned and operated by Rick's parents, Dick and Florence Irwin. Those formative years of kitchen table values left a lasting impression; work hard, care, educate and empower. The family business changed hands in 2017, and in the years since, Rick has established Trinity as one of the definitive, independent boutique financial advisory firms in the region.

Rick is passionate about financial planning and investment management. His thought leadership and expertise have nurtured a team capable of delivering the best possible results, both at the client experience level and through thoughtful, well-rounded advice. His other passions include music, travel, gardening, and home improvements (there is no fear of quitting his day job, however). He lives in Fall River with his wife, Erin, and their children Jacob, Lily, and Sylvie and their dogs Charlie and Oliver ("Ollie").

Rick holds both the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations and has close to 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Patricia is a Senior Financial Planner. During her 30 years of experience, she has helped clients successfully navigate through many types of financial markets. The knowledge and experience she’s gained have enabled her to develop proven processes to help ensure that if something keeps you awake at night, it isn’t worried about your financial plan. She considers herself an “adult educator” and you will most appreciate her ability to explain (what can seem like) complicated concepts in a way that’s both easy to understand and how it relates to your situation.

Patricia worked with RBC Financial Services from 1986 until 2004 when she decided to pursue her profession as a Financial Planner independently. Along with the industry-recognized designation of Personal Financial Planner (PFP®), she has completed the Canadian Securities Course, is a licensed insurance broker, and is a member in good standing of Advocis. She is an active volunteer at Bedford United Church and is on the Board of Directors with Hope for Wildlife. She happily joined the team at Trinity in the summer of 2014.

Patricia and her husband Stephen love to travel, cook together and enjoy family time with their three grown children, Melinda, Christopher and Joshua and four grandsons and granddaughter, Ty, Jackson, Landen, Wyatt, and Olivia.
